My background spans live production, business ownership, and technical operations for hardware and software in a variety of capacities. I’ve worked in environments where reliability is critical, issues must be resolved in real time, and systems are expected to perform without failure.
That experience has naturally led me toward internal IT where I can focus on helping teams stay productive and give end users a seamless experience.

In live production, there is no margin for failure. Systems must function reliably in real time, and when issues occur, they must be diagnosed and resolved immediately. In my role as a Live Production Director, I was responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining complex technical environments involving AV systems, networking, and hardware integration, ensuring seamless execution under high-pressure conditions.
Video feeds
Audio routing
Switching systems
Networking and signal distribution
Recording and streaming infrastructure
Equipment varies by venue and setup
Time for testing is often limited
Systems must be reconfigured quickly for different events
Failures are visible immediately to end users (the audience)
Any single point of failure can disrupt the entire operation. Unlike traditional IT environments, there is no downtime window. Issues must be resolved instantly, often while systems are actively in use.
Designing system layouts and signal flow
Configuring and integrating AV and supporting technology
Ensuring system readiness prior to events
Monitoring systems in real time during execution
Troubleshooting and resolving issues under pressure
Adapting setups based on environment and constraints
I built systems with redundancy and simplicity in mind, reducing single points of failure wherever possible and ensuring that critical components had backup options.
During live events, I continuously monitored system performance and quickly diagnosed issues across hardware, connections, and signal flow—often resolving problems without interrupting the production.
I worked across multiple technologies simultaneously, ensuring that audio, video, and control systems operated as a unified environment.
Each event required adjustments based on venue, equipment, and requirements. I regularly reconfigured systems under tight timelines while maintaining reliability.
I coordinated with team members and stakeholders during live operations, providing clear direction and updates to keep everything aligned.
Consistently delivered reliable live productions with minimal disruptions
Reduced downtime through proactive system design and fast issue resolution
Built repeatable setups that improved efficiency across events
Maintained performance in high-pressure, zero-failure environments
Earned trust as the go-to person for solving technical problems quickly and effectively
