MY BACKGROUND

My background spans live production, business ownership, and technical operations for hardware and software in a variety of capacities. I’ve worked in environments where reliability is critical, issues must be resolved in real time, and systems are expected to perform without failure.

That experience has naturally led me toward internal IT where I can focus on helping teams stay productive and give end users a seamless experience.

Building and Maintaining Mission-Critical Systems in Live Production Environments

In live production, there is no margin for failure. Systems must function reliably in real time, and when issues occur, they must be diagnosed and resolved immediately. In my role as a Live Production Director, I was responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining complex technical environments involving AV systems, networking, and hardware integration, ensuring seamless execution under high-pressure conditions.

THE CHALLENGE

Live Production Environments Combine Multiple Interdependent Systems

Any single point of failure can disrupt the entire operation. Unlike traditional IT environments, there is no downtime window. Issues must be resolved instantly, often while systems are actively in use.
